“The Boothbay Planning Board gave conditional preliminary approval Sept. 18 for the first phase of Boothbay Regional Development Corporation's proposed Butler Road subdivision. The board voted, 5-0, for preliminary approval with one condition. The board denied a waiver for five reduced-sized parking spots.”

“Boothbay Region Development Corp. has another town supporting its initiative to create more affordable housing. On Oct. 31, Edgecomb selectmen agreed to join Boothbay, Boothbay Harbor and Southport in signing a letter of support. The BRDC wants municipal support in seeking grants for the public-private partnership.”

“Boothbay selectmen gave two “big thumbs-up” Sept. 14 to a proposal geared toward alleviating the region’s workforce housing shortage. Selectmen voted unanimously to provide $50,000 from municipal American Rescue Plan Act funds and write a letter supporting Boothbay Region Development Corporation’s effort to seek additional grants and funding.”
